The concept of the Trading Room is explained here – http://vtrender.com/trading-room/. But over the years we have received quite a few questions on what we do . Listed below are a few common questions. If you have more then feel free to write in at email@example.com.
Q) What exactly is your Trading Room About?
We are an online community of traders and for traders who trade the markets every day in the NF and the BNF along with Options. This we do with our customized charts and the concepts of MarketProfile which we share openly with the community. You can call it a live seminar in a moving market with real-time comments on the action and live charts .
Q) How is this sharing done?
The sharing is done through a unique desktop sharing tool which enables you to see the same charts as us . So armed with the same set of charts, our community can visualize better what we are talking about.
Q) Do I need to download any software?
We provide you with a login and a password when you subscribe and through this unique ID/ Password you can access the Room where you will be able to see not just our charts but also interact live with us and the group
Q) Is there a mechanism in place to ask questions in the Trading room
Yes. There is a quick real-time 2-way mode of communication in the room with zero lag
Q) Are you a charting service?
No, we are not. We don’t claim to sell charts and neither are we a vendor for the charts we show in the Trading room
Q) If I do not know anything on Market Profile, can I still join?
Yes, you can. When we started the trading room there were a handful of traders who understood Market Profile. Today that number is in thousands and most started off with us with little knowledge of Market Profile. Besides the subject is very easy to understand.
Q) What are the costs involved?
We have 3 subscription plans – A monthly for INR 8000/-, a quarterly for INR 19499/- and an annual plan for INR 63999/-. The charges are inclusive of 15% service tax.
Q) How many trades do you send out in a month?
We average between 10- 16 trades a month across NF, BNF and including Options. We recommend a quarterly plan @INR 19499/- to get started as that can give you about 40- 55 trades for you to understand our setups better as also adjust for all market-related volatility
Q) Do you have a performance record you maintain?
Yes, you can find it at – http://vtrender.com/vtrender-performance-register/ We document all trades – the good, bad as well as the ugly. Besides this, we also do intra day calls with the same bias as our calls noted above but maintaining a register for them separately would mean a duplication of most of the results which we avoid. The actual performance register is much higher.
Q) Is there a minimum requirement of capital to trade all your calls?
No. You capital should be good enough to trade in Futures and meet all the margin requirements
Q) Is 10 L needed to trade on all your calls and can I manage it less?
The 10 L quoted is just a metric to understand position sizing which we consider as important as a good entry and exit in a trade. You can trade our calls in any smaller size also. The size we use often is between 4-6 lots in NF and BNF and 10- 20 lots in Options
Q) Why are their different lot sizes in your performance report for all the trades?
The lot size depends on the SL of the trade and a fixed 3 % of risk in the Nifty trade ( 4% risk for BN trade) . Hence if SL is less the trade quantity is more and with a bigger stop, the size reduces. We will send you the details to get the right position size in your welcome kit
Q) How long does it take to activate the subscription?
We require you to go through all the documents and links we send in the welcome kit and hence a new subscription is started off at the Open of the next working sessions. We do not start you off in market hours and the welcome kit is dispatched after an existing session is over
Q) Can you give an example of the charts you have in the Trading Room.
This one below is a 5 minute Time Frame chart of the Buying and the Selling .
On the Right of this chart, you will find a 30-minute view of the same buying and selling allowing you to see who is more dominant from the Open etc.
We also have a full day OrderFlow chart to the right of this one . An example of that is posted every day on our blog. And finally, at the extreme right, we have the Market Profile chart.
We also have similar charts for the BNF in the same room.
