FIIs have added 3K short Index Futures, net 23K long Index PE and 1K long Stocks Futures contracts this week besides liquidating 4K long Index Futures contracts and covering 34K short Stocks Futures contracts. They were net buyers in equity segment for 1366 crore during the week.
Clients have added net 40K long Index CE and net 75K long Index PE contracts this week while reducing Open Interest in Index and Stocks Futures.
Nifty DEC Open Interest has come down by 29510 contracts this week but only 9892 contracts have been added to JAN/FEB OI. Banknifty DEC has shed 1989 contracts with 3086 contracts being added to JAN/FEB Open Interest.
