FIIs have added net 7K long Index Futures, net 22K long Index CE, net 14K long Index PE and 3K short Stocks Futures contracts this week while liquidating 9K long Stocks Futures contracts. They were net buyers in equity segment for ₹2068 crore during the week.
Clients have added net 4K long Index PE and 9K long Stocks Futures contracts this week, covered 5K short Stocks Futures contracts and reduced exposure in Index Futures & Index CE.
Nifty AUG has shed 9061 contracts this week while adding 16231 contracts in SEP/OCCT Open Interest. Banknifty AUG OI has come down by 7494 contracts during the week and only 3548 contracts have been added to SEP/OCT series.
