FIIs added 5K long Index Futures, net 9K long Index CE, net 3K long Index PE and 4K long Stocks Futures contracts today besides covering 8k short Index Futures and 2K short Stocks Futures contracts. Their net bias in Index Futures turned positive today. FII were net sellers in equity segment for ₹682 crore.
Clients added 7K short Index Futures, net 18K long Index PE and net 2k long Stocks Futures contracts today, they also liquidated 4K long Index Futures contracts.
Traded volumes in Nifty and Banknifty today were highest so far this month. Nifty Open Interest remained flat though. Banknifty added 3321 contracts in JAN Futures.
