Mid-week view
FIIs have added 5K short Index Futures, 11K short Index CE, net 35K long Index PE and net 8K short Stocks Futures contracts this week. They have been net buyers in equity segment for ₹142 crore.
Clients have reduced exposure in Index Futures while adding net 103K long Index CE, net 6K short Index PE and net 10K long Stocks Futures contracts.
Nifty JAN Open Interest largely remained flat this week with shedding of 2826 contracts. Banknifty JAN shed 7042 contracts during the week.
