Mid-week view
FIIs have added net 7K short Index Futures, net 8K long Index CE, net 16K long Index PE and net 60K short Stocks Futures contracts this week. They have been net sellers in equity segment for ₹6813 crore during the week.
Clients have added 7K short Index Futures, net 170K long Index CE and net 31K short Index PE contracts, liquidated 13K long Index Futures contracts and reduced exposure in Stocks Futures this week.
Nifty FEB has shed 61328 contracts this week with MAR/APR series adding 107584 contracts to Open Interest. Banknifty FEB has shed 22089 contracts while MAR/APR series has seen build up of 27609 contracts during the week.
