FIIs have added 6K short Index CE and 27K short Stocks Futures contracts this week while reducing exposure in Index Futures, liquidating 8K long Index CE and 8K long Stocks Futures contracts. They have been net buyers in equity segment for ₹16721 crore.
Clients have added net 6K long Index Futures, net 64K long Index CE, 27K short Index PE and net 15K short Stocks Futures contacts besides liquidating 16K long Index PE contracts.
Nifty DEC has shed 7665 contracts in Open Interest this week while 6668 contracts have been added to JAN/FEB OI. Banknifty DEC OI has come down by 6100 contracts during the week with addition of just 1341 contracts in JAN/FEB Open Interest.
