FIIs have added 14K short Index Futures, net 20K short Index CE, net 37K long Index PE and 26K short Stocks Futures contracts this week besides liquidating 30K long Index Futures contracts and 4K long Stocks Futures contracts. They have been net buyers in equity segment for ₹7637 crore during the week.
Clients have added 18K long Index Futures, net 91K long Index CE and net 30K long Stocks Future contracts while reducing Open Interest in Index PE.
Nifty JAN has shed 6433 contracts this week while 3410 contracts have been added to FEB/MAR series. Banknifty JAN has shed 9251 contracts with just 1439 contracts being rolled over to FEB/MAR series.
