Mid-week view
FIIs have added 4K short Index Futures, net 7K short Index CE and net 3K long Index PE contracts this week while liquidating 4K long Index Futures and 30K long Stocks Futures contracts. They have been net sellers in equity market for ₹1566 crore during the week.
Clients have added net 151K long Index CE, net 14K long Index PE and 7K long Stocks Futures contracts this week besides reducing exposure in Index Futures and covering 20K short Stocks Futures contracts.
Nifty JUL has shed 27929 contracts in Open Interest this week, Banknifty JUL OI has gone down by just 1261 contracts.
