Mid-week view
FIIs have added 11K long Index Futures, 8K long Index CE, 27K long Index PE and net 15K short Stocks Futures contracts this week. They have been net sellers in equity segment for ₹639 crore during the week.
Clients have added net 23K long Index CE, net 57K long Index PE and 11K long Stocks Futures contracts while covering 20K short Stocks Futures contracts and reducing exposure in Index Futures.
Nifty FEB has shed 11712 contracts in Open Interest this week with 12682 contracts added to MAR/APR series. Banknifty FEB OI has come down by 10025 contracts with just 3050 contracts added to MAR/APR series during the week.
