Mid-week view
FIIs have added net 9K short Index Futures, 63K short Index CE, net 39K long Index PE and 48K short Stocks Futures contracts this week while liquidating 13K long Stocks Futures contracts. They are back to net short position in Index Futures. They have been net sellers in equity segment for ₹221 crore during the week.
Clients have added net 1K long Index Futures, net 237K long Index CE, 47K short Index PE and 29K long Stocks Futures contracts this week while liquidating 4k long Index PE contracts and covering 19K short Stocks Futures contracts.
Nifty JAN series has shed 9660 contracts in Open Interest this week with 5804 contracts rolled over to FEB/MAR series, Banknifty JAN has added 18609 contracts to OI this week with 3641 contracts added to FEB/MAR series.
