Mid-week view
FIIs have added 10K long Index Futures, net 10K long Index CE and net 6K long Index PE contracts this week while covering 4K short Index Futures contracts and liquidating 6K long Stocks Futures contracts. They have been net buyers in equity segment this week for ₹1928 crore.
Clients have added net 12K short Index CE and net 67K long Index PE contracts this week besides liquidating 15K long Index Futures contracts and covering 16K short Stocks Futures contracts.
Nifty AUG has shed 4073 contracts this week with 7425 contracts added to SEP/OCT Open Interest. Banknifty AUG OI has gone down by 10687 contracts during the week whit only 1444 contracts added to SEP/OCT series.
