About
Shai Coelho is the founder of Vtrender and the author of Power Trading with MarketProfile and Orderflow — a workbook on reading NSE and BSE derivatives through auction structure and Orderflow. Not prediction, but observation of what the market is doing while it is doing it.
He has been applying MarketProfile and Orderflow to Indian markets since 2009 — among the earliest practitioners of the method in the country — and has traded through every major regime change since: the post-2008 recovery, the rise of weekly options, the retail F&O expansion, and the algo-driven microstructure of today's NSE.
Vtrender is an authorised direct market data vendor of both NSE and BSE, operating since 2010. It builds charting and analytics tools calibrated for how NIFTY, BANKNIFTY, Sensex, and Bankex actually trade through the Indian session. Shai leads the product direction and the methodology behind the reading layers on Vtrender Charts — MarketProfile, Orderflow, Gamma, Spectrum, MFLOW, and the others: where value is being built, where aggression is absorbed, and whether the participation behind a move is conviction or unwind.
He also created the Vtrender E-Course on MarketProfile and Orderflow, for traders who want to understand the framework behind the charts before acting on price.
His commentary on Indian market structure has appeared in Moneycontrol, Business Standard, Mint, NDTV Profit, The Economic Times, and CNBC-Awaaz.
