Weekly Spot Charts (30th Mar to 03rd Apr 2026) and Market Profile Analysis

Nifty opened the week with a big gap down continuiing the imbalance to the downside as it left an extension handle at 22446 on Monday and went on to make new lows for the year 2026 at 22283 but left a reaponsive tail indicating profit booking by the sellers which was followed by a bigger gap up on Wednesday after the first of the holidays of the week disrupted the flow where it made a high of 22941 in the IB (Initial Balance) stalling just below previous week's POC of 22956 signalling the end of the bounce as it first dropped back lower to 22618 into the close and followed it up with yet another big gap down on Thursday where it broke below 22283 and recorded new lows of 22182 in the IB but left poor lows displaying absenbce of supply which brought back the buyers into play and they pushed it back higher to 22782 with a Double Distribution profile before closing just above the weekly POC of 22681. This week's profile is a Neutral Centre one with overlapping to lower Value at 22453-22681-22912 which has a good chance for a move away from here in the coming session(s),

BankNifty not only opened lower this week but confrimed an ORR (Open Rejection Reverse) start right at previous week's VAL as it went on to form a 1519 points range Trend Down profile tagging the weekly VPOC of 50262 while making new lows for the year at 50105 but the holiday on Tuesday and overnight news forced a big gap up open on Wednesday where there was an equal fight between the buyers and sellers forcing a Neutral Centre Day with a prominent POC at 51441 but as the season of gaps continued, the auction opened with a big cut of 823 points on Thursday but similar to Nifty formed poor lows around the BRN of 50000 in the IB which it attempted to repair in the D TPO but could only manage marginal new lows of 49954 depicting failure of the sellers and this triggered a massive probe to the upside resulting in an elongated 1777 point range Neutral Extreme Day with a FA at lows. The weekly profile however is a Neutral one with completely lower Value at 49993-50107-51358 but the close above Value means buyers are at slight advantage getting into the next week.
